2025-12-24 (W) RollAndMoveGame Holiday playtesting with my wife

I have been working on a board game for a while, and I convinced my wife to help me with a round of playtesting and rules editing. I started by handing her a copy of the rules, which were in their third revision by then, and a red pen. They bled. We played for a couple of hours, and she had to refer to the rules often, but she played aggressively. A holiday party broke out in the room, so we stopped after a couple of hours. The game needed a better win condition because it should not have lasted more than 45 minutes.

There will be more about this game, starting with a longer conceptual explanation and the day-to-day experience. I wanted to express my love for my wife because we spent Christmas Eve geeking out and playtesting a homemade game together.
