2026-02-08 (Su) CylinderWhistle COMPLETED

I made a whistling sound when I opened up the space around the air lip! It was not as loud as I had hoped, considering the ramp went around the circumference, but the resulting tool took 1/3 the space of the flat rectangular whistles many people prefer. This design takes considerably more filament. The edge case where these would be useful is someone who cannot tend to a printer often, so they are best served by a print they can start and leave unattended for a long time, and return to many whistles. Another disadvantage is that they require more air to work, since their air ducts and lips are so large. I tried a couple of changes, but REV10 and REV13 were essentially the same.
REV13 whistle: noisy and takes minimal printer bed space
