We talked about the German film, I'm Your Man. None of us spoke German, so we relied on subtitles, English dubbing, or both. The movie was about a woman who reluctantly agrees to assess an android intended as a human companion and lover. We were all surprised at how different it was from Her, which we reviewed last week, yet it had many similarities. The two were fundamentally the same, but their approaches were so different that, at a glance, they could not be more dissimilar. It had some low points that dragged on unnecessarily, but most of us would recommend it.
