2026-02-12 (Th) HandcuffKey24 COMPLETED

I thought the handcuff key holder/whistle would be a quick modeling job and then I would have a working piece I could stick in my pocket. I was annoyed to have seven failed revisions before I got everything working. In the early models, I left the top bare so I could install a key and fasten the lid with an M3 bolt, but the whistle did not work. I expanded the cavities, thickened the walls, and added the lid before I got sound out of it. In later iterations, I added a protrusion to enlarge the left cavity and break up the symmetry. I also experimented with two-color prints for a two-tone look.
Early revisions

On REV08, I designed a whistle that worked and a key holder that functioned correctly! The white key cover can rotate, which is a bug, not a feature. If the rotation becomes a problem, I will glue it. I was delighted with how nice this looks. The black-and-white gives a yin-yang vibe, but that was unintentional.
