The round TuningWhistles were of manageable sizes and much lower-pitched. I made some estimates on the necessary volume and printed four black round whistles and four white square whistles. I added mounting holes on each. The white whistles had 3.5mm holes so I could add heat-set inserts, while the black units had a 3mm hole for passing a bolt through. I randomly paired up the whistles, and they sounded a bit like flutes, rather than phone tones, but when I exhaled sharply, the instantaneous tone reminded me of electronic signaling. I uploaded the files to GitHub. There were four models in each .stl file, but if someone printed each file sixteen times, they would have enough to emulate every frequency pair on a line technician's phone. I paired the whistles at random to make a short demonstration video.
