2026-02-25 (W) VinylCutterMarkerAdapter COMPLETED

The pen adapter I made for my vinyl cutter was excellent, and making a large, detailed sign was excellent, but a large sign with bold letters would take forever to print with a fine pen. Adapting a large marker was ideal, but it would not fit into the blade holder. I created a model that would slot into the blade holder, then, off to the side, it would have a marker holder. I found some inexpensive bullet-tipped permanent markers at a discount store and measured them for the model.

The first model mounted the marker too low, so I raised it and 3D-printed a new one. The marker sits several millimeters to the right of the blade holder, but I have to set the zero-point manually. As long as I do not try to print something wider than the machine allows, I can make signs while printing with a 2.5mm-wide marker. I have black, red, and blue markers.
