I made the noted changes to the model, including rounded corners, wider bolt holes, and some clearance on the tops where the pushbutton leads could pass. I printed a base and a half note, which fit nicely. The switch cleared, and it operated smoothly. I tried a base with the switch mount centered to clear the edges better, but I had to print it upright, and the layer lines caused too much friction. I sanded down the corners and edges with a rotary tool, but it still bound up, so I changed it back. I removed one switch mount and added a bump to the other side so it would hinge and press the button reliably. Lastly, I dug out a path for the filament wire so it would not interfere with the button operation. It would be necessary to dismount the filament if I never needed to access the screws, but I was not planning to fasten it down.
