The varnish on my piano was dry, so I gathered a bunch of M3 bolts, nuts, and piano key pieces. I did not buy the best-fit bolt length because I had a cache of long bolts from a previous project. Their excessive length meant I had to thread the bolts a long way, so I used my electric bit driver to spin them as quickly as possible. I did not overtighten them, since they should not be subject to much vibration. The operators: switches and potentiometers, were mounted on the circular control facing, where I used an adjustable wrench to tighten their nuts. I forgot to add a path for the wire coming off the top of the LED filament, so I will need to drill holes at the top of each key. The holes will be hidden, so they do not have to be tidy.
