I watched a YouTube video where someone used a white pen on blue paper to create artwork that looked like blueprints. I thought it was clever, and I was looking for some papercraft to celebrate my first anniversary. The first traditional anniversary element was paper, but plastic was also a common interpretation. I opened the file I used to create a pen adapter for my vinyl cutter and made modifications so it would fit a Gelly Roll gel pen. The walls were so thin that I did not need to print the full length with a screw cap.
I drafted an image featuring a pi symbol (π) filled with lovey-dovey words. As "technical notes" by the side, I included the first few dozen digits of pi, and a note to my wife. I was delighted with the result. I could improve the look by printing on larger media and using less detail. The Gelly Roll to Roland adapter is on my GitHub.
