2026-04-01 (W) VictorianLightPiano Drilling octave 3

I started working on the final octave. Before I started wiring, I tested the fit between a keycap and base. Next, I laid a piece of wire where the LED's signal wire was routed and retested how well it moved, and it was noticeably worse. The keycaps should be revised to accommodate the wire and reduce friction with the base.

With the testing done, I began wiring. I cut short lengths of blue wire to connect the LEDs to the switches, and longer lengths of black wire to connect all the 0V connections. I systematically soldered the devices together, then laid them in place. Next, I will add the signal wires and PCB.
