Ray Jamison (DM Ray) came back to talk about Willow (1998). Ray was promoting the conclusion of his three-part fantasy comic series The Mapcaps. The movie fell into a strange place because it was on the border of the typical Swords and Sandals era and the era of high-budget fantasy, like Peter Jackson's Middle-earth movies. The sexism was either progressive for the time or better veiled, or both, and Amanda shed some light on how just putting women into high-power roles is not the same as progress. The show went long, but we stayed on topic.
