2026-05-06 (W) SubdermalDuino Software install

I was eager to start programming the microcontrollers, but I wanted to use the Nordic-approved method, since I was unsure whether I could use OTA (Over The Air) updates with Arduino-based software. The tutorial I found assumed I had already programmed Nordic hardware, so instead of starting with the software I needed, it started with the changes I would make in the already-running software. I started with Nordic's nRF Connect, but I did not see anything there for writing microcontroller software. There was mention of using SEGGER Embedded Studio, so I installed that, and I found the functions for writing and compiling code. I tried to find the "Blinky" example from Nordic, but I got a 404. I played around with the Hello World example in SEGGER to start understanding the syntax.
SEGGER, apparently
