2026-07-06 (M) Critical Affection: Mad Max (1979)

I was traveling for work, so I did not have a chance to watch Mad Max (1979). I joined the show as a backup host, but Mr Fish did a wonderful job as the host in place of Sarah, who was having internet troubles. We kept the show upbeat for an apocalypse movie, and touched on the timeline that the Mad Max universe used to crumble the world and turn it into an unrecognizable hellscape. Fish suggested the movie, and it was one of his favorites growing up and is still beloved. Shaun Barbour, another member of the team making I Drive for Cerberus, joined us and was a delight.
