I measured the last parts I was integrating with a digital caliper and entered their values into the model. In most cases, I was pretty accurate. I printed a switch enclosure revised it with a deeper cavity and made the flexible button cover teardrop-shaped instead of a bridge because it was too rigid. The tag was the most daunting piece, and I saved it for last because several of the modules I wrote were applicable. The start was a cylinder to fit inside the pipe, topped by an ovoid to round off the pipe's sharp corners. The aluminum blades and sheathes were cavities here, and I added a slopFactor variable to make allowances for printer variability. The blade module needed a few tweaks so I could change the bolt size and the resolution, which allowed me to make hexagons that will house the threaded coupler nuts.
