2026-08-13 (Th) EleKSCo REV05 Modeling a battery holder

I modeled a battery holder that integrated DIY battery terminals and power connectors. Just in case, I searched for adapters that held 18650 batteries with a fixed power terminal on the end, but no luck. It seems like it should be something flashlights use, but whatever. The battery contacts and power connector were standard-looking devices that many people should be able to source without difficulty. I thought I would need to leave plenty of space at the front to make an electrical connection between the positive battery terminal and the barrel connector, but I may leave out the positive terminal entirely and rely on the connector's exposed metal.

I planned to discard the plastic sheath from the barrel connector's male end, which was intended to go onto a wire, and use its threads to secure it into the print. If that fails, I will revise to include the necessary space. The groove at the back will let me run a wire from the negative terminal to the front and solder it to the negative power connector terminal.
