2026-08-18 (Tu) EleKSCo REV05 Modeling a bottom plug

The end cap was simpler than the internal power receiver because I could use a central bolt and hold the exterior while I installed it. The trick to this model was inserting and removing it quickly for a battery change. I planned to buy a countersunk M6 bolt in the correct length and drive it in with an electric screwdriver until it was flush with the end. The stem was hexagonal, so I could grip it easily or even use a wrench, but the edges were rounded, so it would not scratch anyone. I was going to add a flared base to cover the polycarbonate tube edges, but I decided against it so I could push this device in as deep or as shallow as needed to hold the battery exactly where I wanted. I made the animation with a 1/4 cutout so you can see the tapered cone inside and how the cut lines should make the end expand.
