My resin printer was powered down for two years, so I was relieved when it powered up, accepted the updated firmware, and started printing. The FEP film at the bottom of the vat was old, but it looked all right. I installed the latest slicing software on a laptop and learned the new features. The print took two hours and looked pretty rough. The software insisted on a slew of supports, but many did not survive, so I will filter my resin. The print was distorted but sturdier than I expected. I will tune up the printer and try again.
