The screen and microcontroller demo board I ordered from Amazon had one review, and it was critical about the lack of documentation, and it was not a good purchase. For the price point, I wanted to take the risk. I tried the GitHub recommended by the reviewer, but it did not function, and I could not figure out why. I searched for similar models, assuming this was a clone, and found that Elecrow made a similar board without the addressable LED and light sensor. Their site was not forthcoming regarding libraries and support, but I found a few hints and installed the library for lvgl and "ILI9341V." I could not get anything to show on the screen, but I managed to upload a program and blink the backlight, which shows that I have the correct settings for the microcontroller.
