There was a lot of wiring for the five new taggers, and the next portion was the emitter arrays. Each unit had a 12-segment LED ring and an infrared LED. The old light rings I salvaged had some wires connected, but I had to remove the extras. Fortunately, the old cables were long enough for this iteration. The IR LEDs were straightforward because they required two wires, but I had to know the polarity for later. After everything was wired, I printed labels to identify the wires and stuck them on the ends that would land on the PCB. None of the units had the same color coding.
