Legend (1985) was a movie everyone saw years ago, except Fred, and we attached some nostalgia. The movie was recommended by our returning guest, DM Ray, who was launching the latest installment of his fantasy comic, The Madcaps. The movie had its problems, but it was less problematic than many of its contemporary movies. By a bit, at least. The movie was incoherent at times, with scenes that made no sense or contradicted earlier parts. We learned from Amanda that the script was the work of two people who worked on it for years, but they did not get external input, so a lot was implied or never stated, making it a confusing watch.
