2026-06-30 (Tu) EWC_Mobile EasyEDA PCB layout

The layout was a bit unusual because EasyEDA thought there were an extra dozen resistors. They appeared in the layout, but they did not show any net connections. I checked both pages in my schematic, but they were not there. I regretted not using small surface-mount resistors, but this was a proof-of-concept board. I had to replace the MIDI port with a couple of pads and screw holes so I can print a little box to mount a chassis-mount headphone socket. The demo board will get two rows of header pins so I can transfer it to a different board for the final version. I kept the pyramid shape for the encoders and keyswitches. I did not route the board because I cannot manufacture double-sided circuits at home, and the complexity of the resistors makes it difficult to make it a single-layer board without numerous jumpers. I have to think about the idea.
