2026-09-20 (Su) EleKSCo REV05 Instructions started

I want this build to be something people can copy. The first version had a page on Hackaday.io, but that was not well-suited for instructions. I may repost it there because it is less likely to be taken down than on Instructables. I thought I would make a detailed outline on a notepad and fill in the details on a computer, but I sat down and started writing. I will trim most of the extraneous material, or put it safely in a section people will not feel obligated to read. Some safety warnings deserve the spotlight, and some anecdotes can be buried. The rough draft was 1,000 words, so a good start. I will build an entirely new knife with the latest models and photograph the assembly. I still need to integrate voltage regulators and protect the aluminum bars, but I can start the instructions.
