2026-10-08 (Th) EleKSCo REV05 Zener regulator test

I put off Zener testing because I had bad luck on the first attempt, where the voltage did not seem regulated by the Zener circuit. I decided it might be better with a load, even a small one, so I connected some green LEDs. I had to dig out my full-size benchtop power supply, but the results were great. I thought I put in a 3V diode, but I monitored a steady 2.1V, so I proved I can regulate voltage with the hardware. A larger load may make the output voltage closer to the 3V I was expecting. The limiting resistors were pretty warm, so I ordered some 1-watt resistors.
Getting a pretty consistent 2.1V from the regulator circuit
