The TPU sheath prints were failing, and often at approximately the same time. The print head would spool up the flimsy filament instead of extruding it, and I assumed it was overheating, making the plastic even more bendy, so I placed a fan on the table to continuously blow over the whole workspace, but it did not prevent failures. Since I could always print a while, I deleted the G-code for a complete sheath and made new files with one half each. They print in half the time, but I am usually not around to clear the platen and start a new one, so they are slower to make. I also started PLA prints of the small mechanisms like the switch and power parts.
My personal life has been getting out of control. My wife and I are moving from a despicable apartment complex into a Bay Area house, and the process has been abysmal. Between house hunting and the impending move, I am putting the blog on temporary hiatus. I will try to do some instruction writing when I have a few minutes, and keep printing parts and stockpiling them for the upcoming instructions. I expect this to go into next month, so two or three weeks.
